PSTET 2015 was a state-level exam conducted by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) to determine the eligibility of candidates for teaching jobs in primary and upper primary classes. The exam was held on 13th December 2015 and the result was declared on 22nd January 2016.

The PSTET 2015 result was available in PDF format on the official website of PSEB. The candidates who appeared for the exam could download their provisional certificate and check their score by following these steps:

  • Click on the link of âPSTET Result 2015â.

  • Login with your registration number and date of birth.

  • Download the PSTET Provisional Certificate PDF.

  • Save the file and take a printout for future use.

The PSTET 2015 result PDF contained the following details:

  • Candidateâs name

  • Candidateâs roll number

  • Candidateâs category

  • Candidateâs marks obtained in paper I and paper II

  • Candidateâs qualifying status

  • Candidateâs rank

The PSTET 2015 result was valid for seven years from the date of issue of certificate. The candidates who qualified could apply for various teaching vacancies in government and private schools in Punjab as per their eligibility and preference.The PSTET 2015 exam consisted of two papers: paper I for candidates who intended to teach classes I to V and paper II for candidates who intended to teach classes VI to VIII. The candidates who wanted to teach both levels had to appear for both papers. Each paper had 150 multiple choice questions and the duration was 2 hours and 30 minutes. The questions were based on the following subjects:

The PSTET 2015 exam was conducted in offline mode and the candidates had to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. The candidates had to use a black or blue ball point pen only. The marking scheme was as follows:

  • Each question carried one mark.

  • There was no negative marking for wrong answers.

  • The candidates had to attempt all the questions.

  • The candidates had to follow the instructions given on the question paper and the OMR sheet.

The PSTET 2015 exam was a mandatory requirement for candidates who wanted to pursue a career in teaching in Punjab. The exam aimed to assess the candidatesâ knowledge, skills and aptitude for teaching.
